Chef Oheneba
Chef Oheneba was born in Ghana. His parents moved to the neighborhood of Flatbush, Brooklyn,
where he still resides to this day. Oheneba’s dad was a political figure and was very strict on rules
and standards of expectation. These strict standards set the precedence for the hardworking
mentality Oheneba has developed and this translates to the high integrity taken when preparing his
famous, world-class dishes. Oheneba started his entrepreneurial journey in high school when he
opened his first ice cream shop. He was the only teen attending school there with his very own
business. Fast forward to today and Oheneba has become legendary in the neighborhood for his
catering service and vibrant flavors he brings to your taste palette. Oheneba then went on to be a
head chef at NYU, where his diverse dishes and innovative recipes have been considered a delicacy
for anyone lucky enough to get a taste. Oheneba is well-versed in dishes from all parts of the world.
His witty ways of mixing spices and creating original formulas, learned in the science of food, can
only be gained through years of hands-on cooking. Oheneba’s vibrant personality and 25+ years in
the culinary industry give the customer an unforgettable experience, with laughter, anticipation,
excitement, and satisfaction.
